The plain-English terms.
By using See Yourself Out you agree to the terms below. We’ve tried to write them honestly and short. There’s no fine print, because there is no print at all once you scroll.

What this site is
See Yourself Out is a free web tool that drafts short text messages from a few small inputs you provide. The drafts cover specific moments: ending a relationship, replying to someone who ghosted you, apologizing. We may add more tools over time.
The drafts are generated by an AI model. They are starting points, not finished messages and not professional advice. What you do with them is your call.
What this site is not
Not therapy. If you need to talk through what you’re feeling, please talk to a person. We list crisis resources on the what this is page.
Not legal advice. Anything that involves contracts, custody, harassment, restraining orders, or similar requires an actual lawyer or the appropriate authority.
Not a crisis service. If you or someone you know is in danger, please call a real crisis line. In the US: 988 (call or text). Elsewhere: findahelpline.com.
Not a tool for harm.We won’t draft slurs, threats, content directed at minors, harassment, or messages written specifically to wound. The model refuses these categories and we will too. If you find a way around it, we’d like to know.
AI-generated content
All drafts on this site are produced by a large language model (currently Anthropic’s Claude). The drafts can be inaccurate, awkward, off-tone, or wrong for your specific situation. We do our best to calibrate the model, but it is still a model. Read every draft carefully before you send it.
We do not retain your inputs or the drafts after generation. See the privacy page for details on what happens with the data.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use this site to:
- Draft messages that target someone for who they are (race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, etc.).
- Draft messages directed at, or about, minors in any romantic or sexual context.
- Threaten, harass, dox, or attempt to intimidate any person.
- Generate large volumes of drafts via automation, scripts, or bot traffic.
- Reverse-engineer the model, scrape outputs, or claim them as your own work for sale.
- Use the site for any purpose that violates the law where you live.
We reserve the right to limit access (rate limiting, IP blocks) for use that looks like abuse or automation.
No warranty, no liability
The site is provided as-is. We don’t guarantee that it will be available, accurate, or fit for any particular purpose. The drafts are not vetted by humans before being shown to you.
You decide what to send. Whatever happens after you hit send (the recipient’s reaction, your relationship outcomes, your feelings about it) is yours. To the extent the law allows, we accept no liability for anything that follows from a draft you generated, edited, or sent.
Ads
See Yourself Out is supported by Google AdSense. The ads you see are served by Google and may use cookies and other tracking technologies. Ad behavior is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. You can opt out of personalized ads at Ad Settings. Your inputs to the wizard are never shared with Google.

See Yourself Out is for adults. If you are under 18, please don’t use this site.
